DIGITAL UNDERGROUND

In 1988 Atron Gregory met Digital Underground while working at Ruthless Records and most specifically being the tour manager for all of the Ruthless Acts from JJ Fad, Michelle’, The DOC and NWA. With the experience from Ruthless and Kru’ Cut Records Atron was ready to start his own label TNT Records and later TNT Recordings.

TUPAC SHAKUR

Shakur was born in the Harlem neighborhood of New York City but relocated to Los Angeles in 1988, and by the time he released his debut album 2Pacalypse Now in 1991, he became a central figure in West Coast hip hop, introducing social issues in the genre at a time when gangsta rap was dominant in the mainstream.
